Something To Review..?

I am always interested in what is a scam and what is not.

Speaking of scams. If you go into some of the search engines and do a search for data entry, you will see one listed quite often, promising that if you sign up with them you can make hundreds of dollars per day. They go on to state that they don't do Paypal payments, but if you go to this site and sign up they will pay you through them. Then after you sign up to email them your new login ID, so after they get you work they can pay you. hahah..

After doing a little bit of research, I come to discover that if you do indeed sign up for that account and give the person you signed up under your new login id.. they will earn 10 bucks off each new sign up.

Can you imagine how much money they must make off this little scam? And really, they are not hurting anybody (as my husband points out) .. but the point is, is that they are lying. They are promising people jobs that pay just for signing up for a free account, when in reality, they aren't handing out any work at all but just making 10 bucks per person who signs up for a free account.

Pretty sneaky.. eh?

Cash Gifting..

I called an old friend of mine tonight, Tom.. who has been into affiliate marketing for years.

Tom has done a variety of things online to make a living, but for the past 3 years or so his main gig has been cash gifting. I am not sure how many of you are aware of this term, but it means just as the title says, "gifting cash".

You take a couple thousand dollars and give it to the guy who recruited you, that gets you in the door. Then you are sent off to do recruiting of your own, because that is how you get the cash gifts. Lets say you recuit somebody and they come in under you.. the money they put in to get into the program.. usually $500.00 to $3000.00, goes to you and then the first person that person recruits, he/she's money goes to you too.. then it starts over, you recruit another.. etc. You see the picture.

Anyway, I wanted to see what Tom was up to and how his cash gifting stuff was going. I was pretty stunned when he told me he quit gift cashing for something else much better. Hard to imagine how it gets much better than what he was doing.

He told me the main problems with cash gifting is that when you recruit people, it seems a lot think it is against the law or something.. not sure. But he also mentioned that people didn't like the idea of not having 'products' as well. Another strange thing. I guess it just goes to show that there are still lots of people out there who feel if products are not exchanging hands, it is either illegal or just doesn't feel right.

Maybe people like having to buy those 60 dollar bottles of crappy vitamins or whatever else people can pawn off.

Zenzuu

Today I'd like to talk about something totally different.

It is a social network called Zenzuu. Most of us already has an account on one of the many social networks out there, mainly Myspace.

But what makes Zenzuu so different from Myspace or any of the others is that it actually shares 80% of its ad revenue with us, the users.

Work-At-Home Jobs

Welcome To My Blog!

My name is Embrisa and I live in Colorado, USA.

This is my first real try at blogging, so please hang with me while I try to create a blog that will not only make me proud but will also have lots of information that people will read and be of value.

I've decided to try to do this because I am so tired of people out there trying to scam innocent people out of their money and am amazed at exactly how low some will go. Now don't get me wrong. I do not think I am a pro of anything, but I have been trying to learn to make money online for the past 20 years. I've been scammed out of so much money I could probably take a month long vacation in Europe, staying in the best hotels with all the money I've lost. So my main goal is to try to educate people. To show them real ways to make money without being scammed out of their hard earned bucks.

So I guess for this first posting, I will start off with 'real' jobs that we can work out of our own homes. These jobs are great for stay-at-home mommies or dads. The companies I am going to list are real and I have worked for them before. They require some knowledge of customer service skills, typing, spelling and basic knowledge of your computer. Like how to copy and paste, move files, etc. If you do not know the basics, please study before you apply, because when they call you for an interview, they will test you on those skills. You will also need a quiet place to work and take calls. You will need a phone line with a telephone and the phone line should have no call-waiting or anything on it. You will also need a headset. Oh, and you also need a computer. Laughs. With all these jobs I am going to list, will need a computer. You can find out what each requires when you go to their web site.

The first company I will list is called Live-Ops. I do believe you can find them at LiveOps. They do charge you for a background check which is 30 bucks and I do believe that is it. They take calls for a majority of the things you see for sale on tv. Exercise programs, books, makeup and more. I enjoyed working for this company but it was hard to get the hours I needed. So if you are looking for a job where you get about 4 hours a day and on the weekends perhaps more, apply with LiveOps.

The next is Alpine Access. I really enjoyed the time I spent working with this company. When I worked there they did not require you to have a drug test, nor did they charge you for your background test..but now they require both from you, as a lot of the companies they deal with are for like credit card companies, airlines, etc. This is the only company I know that treats you like an employee even though you work out of your house. They offer you insurance, 401k plan and more and their pay is pretty decent. Again, you can find out all about them by visiting their web site at Alpine Access.

The last one I will mention tonight is Cloud10corp. This one is close to Alpine Access, they pay you an hourly salary but do not require a drug test. They do do a background check on you but they do not charge you for it. They deal with companies like Wildblue Satellite and T-mobile. You can find them at Cloud 10.

Again, these are like traditional jobs. You are required to be logged in to their systems and into your phone and ready to go when your shift starts. Please visit each site for requirements.
